The SolarCatcher installation at North Walsall Primary Academy (WS2 7BH) features three mono-pitch double carport units, designed to maximise clean energy generation on-site. The system produces 35,303 kWh per year, offsetting a significant portion of the academy’s daytime energy demand. In its first year, the project delivers a net cost saving of £4,590, with lifetime avoided energy costs projected at £115,000 over 25 years. This installation also achieves an impressive 188 tonnes of CO₂ savings, helping the school advance its Net Zero and sustainability goals while providing covered, solar-powered parking for staff and visitors.
